Our facility at Plot No. A-59, T-204, Pavana Industrial Premises, MIDC Bhosari, Pune 411026 is situated in the heart of Maharashtra's industrial corridor. Pune is India's second-largest manufacturing economy, home to major automotive OEMs (Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, Force Motors), their Tier-1 and Tier-2 supply chains, and a dense ecosystem of precision engineering companies that are among our primary domestic customers.

Manufacturing Capability
CNC Tool Grinding
The foundation of our manufacturing is multi-axis CNC tool and cutter grinding. Our grinding machines produce the precise geometries that define a cutting tool's performance — flute profiles, point angles, helix, web thickness, relief angles, and the critical edge radius. We maintain numerical grinding programs for every tool we manufacture, which enables:
- Repeatability across production batches: Tool number 1,000 in a batch is ground to exactly the same program as tool number 1
- Exact regrinding restoration: When we regrind a tool we manufactured, we restore it to the original program — not an approximation
- Custom tool capability: Complex profiles, special geometries, and combination tools are programmed and stored just like standard tools
PVD Coating
Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) coating is applied in-house at our Pune facility. We apply TiN, TiAlN, AlTiN, TiCN, and DLC coatings using controlled-atmosphere PVD chambers. In-house coating provides several advantages:
- Coating can be matched precisely to the substrate condition after grinding
- Rapid turnaround — no shipping to an external coating house
- Quality control at both the grinding and coating stages
- Flexibility to apply different coatings to different batches of the same tool for different customer applications
Special and Custom Tool Manufacturing
Our special cutters division — producing profile tools, combination tools, injection bore cutters, trepanning cutters, and circular form tools — operates from the same facility using dedicated grinding setups for complex geometry. Custom tool design starts with the customer's drawing, goes through our in-house 2D/3D design process, and produces a grinding program that is verified on a first-article before batch production.

Regrinding and Reconditioning Services
Our regrinding and reconditioning service accepts worn solid carbide and brazed carbide tools from customers across India and internationally. The same CNC grinding machines, PVD coating equipment, and inspection instruments used for new tool production are used for regrinding — ensuring reconditioned tools are restored to their original specification, not an approximation.
For Vega Tools' own products, we maintain the original grinding program — enabling exact restoration without measurement-based reverse engineering. For third-party tools, we regrind to the ISO geometry standard for the tool type, restoring functional performance even without the original manufacturer's program.

Vega Tools exports to Russia/CIS (15 countries), UAE and all Arab countries (22 countries), African countries (40+), Asian countries (40+), Australia, and the USA. Our export capability is a direct extension of our manufacturing quality — the same tools we produce for domestic automotive and aerospace customers are exported worldwide. We provide full export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and technical documentation for customs clearance.
